Reporting: Project Manager

Base Location: Deepalaya Centre across North-West Delhi [we are looking for candidate who is flexible enough in terms of location to lead the initiatives]


Responsibilities: Following are the broad roles & responsibilities of “Teachers” but not limited to

  • Teaching to students (NFE and REC) 30 in each class
  • Documentation and Record keeping ( Fees Receipts, Individual Files, Case records, Activities register, attendance register, weekly report, monthly progress of students)
  • Community mobilization (for PTM, Absenteeism, activities, progress of students etc)
  • School visits (for mainstreaming of students and to discuss the progress of students etc.)
  • Coordinating and Networking with other stake holders, NGOs etc for smooth functioning of the program
  • Linkages with OBE/ NIOS for enrollment of students
  • Work as per the need of the program/ project


Required Competencies:

  • Able to communicate in Hindi and English Language both written & verbal
  • Able to deal children with love and care
  • Good relation with community know how to do the community mobilization
  • Motivated to learn and follow the system and guidelines by the coordinator
  • Motivated to work in a team
  • Ability to make lesson plan, able to do documentation, tract the students progress etc

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduation
  • Preference would be given to experience teachers

Compensation: Up to Rs. 8000 depending on the profile & experience

  • Educating children involving the Music Instruments (2 classes of 2hrs)
  • Designing lessons with support of Teachers / Manager
  • Maintenance of Music Instruments
  • Work as per the need of the program/ project
  • Documentation ( Submission of weekly reports and monthly progress report)


Required Competencies:

  • Keen to work with underprivileged children
  • Good Behavior/ Motivated individual
  • Sound communication skills
  • Understanding of child psychology
  • Can involve the music as a tool for non formal education


Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate with Music or Experience of teaching Music Instruments

Responsibilities: Following are the broad roles & responsibilities of “Project Coordinator” but not limited to

  • Planning, Coordinating, Monitoring, Mentoring and Implementation of the program (50% of the time)
  • Documentation and Record Keeping – Weekly reports, Monthly reports, Quarterly, Half Yearly, Annual reports internal as well as external (30% of the time)
  • Networking with other stake holders, NGOs, Govt. schools departments, OBE/NIOS/Consultants etc for smooth functioning of the program (10% of the time)
  • Finance Management of the program (10% of the time)
  • Candidate must be responsible always to work as per the need of the program/project


Required Competencies:

  • Leadership Quality, able to lead the entire team & take initiatives
  • Documentation skills (working on case studies & internal documents)
  • Can provide training to staff as per the need & requirement of the program
  • Networking, Coordinating & Liaisoning skills
